Get wine and more at Abbot’s Passage Supply Co.
A historic red barn in the town of Sonoma is now home to Abbot’s Passage Supply Co., offering clothing, home décor, adventure gear, curiosities, maker workshops, and a tasting salon with wines from the Abbot’s Passage project.
Named for an abbot from Mount La Salle Christian Brothers who, according to local legend, trekked weekly from Napa to Sonoma on an ancient Native American footpath, the Abbot’s Passage project offers a collection of small-lot, co-fermented field blends from Sonoma vineyards. The project is the creation of sixth-generation vintner Katie Bundschu.
The new retail venture promises “goods and libations for the modern-day adventurer.” Enjoy a walk-in tasting experience, or make advance reservations for an in-depth private tasting in the lofted salon. Monthly maker workshops cover a wide variety of topics; recent offerings include Hampui Medicine Hats, Obsidian Arrowhead Carving, Lock Picking, and Perfume with Loreto Remsing of L’Aromatica.
