Parish Café brings New Orleans cuisine to Santa Rosa
Renowned for serving up delicious chicory coffee, beignets, po-boys, and crawfish in its original location in Healdsburg, the acclaimed Parish Café has expanded, adding a second location in downtown Santa Rosa.
Chef Rob Lippincott is a Louisiana transplant, and the café menu features traditional New Orleans cuisine using local California ingredients. The beignets (French pastries) are rolled out by hand, quick-fried to feather lightness, and then dusted in powdered sugar. The coffee is rich but smooth. Try the muffalettas (sandwiches made with Italian charcuterie and spicy olive salad, on muffaletta bread), or the spicy shrimp grits with Creole tomato sauce.
