Zoftig Eatery emphasizes delicious healthy food
Re-fuel your body with fresh, whole foods that leave you feeling energized at the new Zoftig Eatery in Santa Rosa, in central Sonoma County.
Owner Matt Spector’s grandmother Bronka Steinfeld used to tell her family, “your life should be zoftig” — meaning full, complete, well-fed, and plentiful. Matt and his wife Sonjia owned the critically acclaimed JoLe restaurant in Calistoga, which they sold in 2016. Their new Zoftig Eatery is closer to their Santa Rosa home, and gives them more regular daytime hours with their two sons — making their own lives as well as their customers’ lives more zoftig.
Whether you just completed a workout or are stopping in for your lunch break, Zoftig Eatery serves seasonal salads, sandwiches, baked goods, coffee, and beer, and will add breakfast in the near future. Everything is made from scratch, from the roasted chicken and Diestal turkey to fresh porchetta and oven-roasted tomatoes.
You can build your own salad or choose from menu items like the Hanna salad (arugula, kale, quinoa, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, chick peas, and tahini dressing); Meat & Potatoes bowl (hanger steak grilled onions, mushrooms, blue cheese, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette); Korean BBQ burrito (grilled short ribs, Kim chi, cucumber, daikon, green onions, jalapeno, brown rice, and avocado); or the Veggie Wrap (roasted cauliflower, beets, asparagus, crimini mushrooms, brown rice, lentils, and cucumber yogurt dressing).
