Description

It seems fairly intuitive to us, but great wines start in the vineyard. There is an old saying “you can make bad wine from good grapes, but you can’t make good wine from bad grapes.” We believe a great wine is made from great grapes, hand grown and tended every step of the way. At Robert Young Vineyards we have nearly 320 acres of hand cared for vines. They are grown sustainably with the end product kept in sight every step of the way. This is true specially for the grapes that become the wines we make at Kelley & Young. We know right from the beginning what we want the wines to taste like and so the grapes are grown to assure we can achieve the delicious end product.
