  • Mill Creek Vineyards and Winery is a small, estate winery, still owned and operated by the founding Kreck family. Vineyards were first planted in 1965 and the winery was established in 1974. The award-winning wines are produced from grapes grown on the winery estate, the family home in Alexander Valley, and a few select neighboring vineyards. A landmark at the southern entrance to Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley, the Mill Creek tasting room serves to welcome visitors to this outstanding grape growing and wine producing region, offering two large picnic areas, a tasting room featuring a beautifully landscaped working water wheel and millpond, and spectacular views of the Dry Creek Valley in Healdsburg, California. We invite you to experience our wines with a relaxed outdoor seated tasting, weather permitting. Choose either our Reserve or Signature List as you sip the wines while overlooking our waterwheel, estate vines and extended panoramic views. Tours of the winery are available by appointment between May and November. During busy times, reservations are recommended but not required for parties of 6 or fewer. Call 707-431-2121 to request a reservation. For groups larger than 6, telephone reservations are required. Please call the winery at 707-431-2121 to book. For smaller groups, our Reserve and Signature tastings are offered at $20 and $15 respectively. We provide a special customized list for larger groups which is created to maximize the tasting experience and may incorporate wines from either list. Custom tastings are $20. Our last outdoor seating is at 4:30. Please allow at least 60 minutes for your visit.

Our host was cordial. The music was great as were the views from the porch and the picnic area. The millpond and water wheel were added attractions. And, the wine was very good! You can taste...

    • Exceptional White Wines

We are predominantly red wine drinkers, but the Gewürztraminer and oaked Chardonnay here were real stand-out wines. All of the wines that we tasted were enjoyable, but these two really were notable...
