Ed Sbragia, Owner/Winemaker, Sbragia Family Vineyards, was born and raised in the vineyards of Dry Creek Valley, just outside Healdsburg, CA. His family immigrated from Tuscany in 1904 and have been farming in Sonoma County ever since. Ed's father Gino taught him the art of winemaking and grape farming in their barn, and Ed went on to earn the title of Winemaster at Beringer Vineyards, co-founding their renowned Private Reserve Program in 1976 and solidifying them as a top producer of fine wines in California.
Ed's dream has always been to return to Sonoma County to raise his children an open the family winery using the family's vineyards. He and his son Adam now make our wines from their family-owned vineyards as well as some of Ed's favorites in Napa Valley.
