The second annual Railroad Square Music Festival celebrates the North Bay arts community with a day of music in the heart of Santa Rosa! This five stage event (one more than last year) will feature over 15 performers. This year’s headlining band will be The Easy Leaves, who will be releasing their new EP “Wheels” at the event. Other performers include Royal Jelly Jive, The Bootleg Honeys, Dixie Giants, John Courage, The Traveling Spectacular (a vaudeville magic show), Whiskerman, La Mandanga, Crow and the Canyon, Sharkmouth, Oddjob Ensemble, Ashley Allred, Los Ritmicos, The Coffis Brothers, and The Jon Gonzales String Trio.
The Railroad Square Music Festival also serves as a showcase for the nonmusical arts of the North Bay. The West End Farmers Market will be at the festival for the first half of the day. Santa Rosa’s own Shop Party will be bringing over a dozen local crafters. Free Art Friday SR will bring a pop-up art gallery showcasing local visual artists. There will be an area for families and local food, beer, and wine as well as a Prop 215 patient resource and education area at the Arlene Francis Center provided by the Emerald Cup. Sonoma County’s premier circus troupe Circus Maximus will bring stilt-walkers, clowns, juggling and more family fun.
The event is a benefit for The West End Farmers Market EBT Program and The North Bay Hootenanny.
