Sonoma County Harvest Fair, Sept. 30 - Oct. 2
The Harvest Fair marks its 42nd year of showcasing Sonoma County's grand harvest which continues to result in world-class wines, award-winning beer, and a plethora of culinary wealth. Last year, with over 26,000 votes, the Harvest Fair was voted the Best Annual Festival of Sonoma County bestowed by The Press Democrat readers. Each October, thirsty travelers from over thirty different states, are beckoned to Santa Rosa to participate in a complete farm to table experience, inspired by the county's hard-working farmers, ranchers, vintners and producers.
The epicenter of the Harvest Fair is still the Tasting Pavilion, featuring innovative cuisine paired with some of the area's best wine, beer and cider. With over 100 Sonoma County wineries participating (with over 300 wines), even the most experienced connoisseur is sure to find a new favorite. The Grand Harvest Tasting ticket offers guests the chance to savor all of the award winning wine and food from this year's Professional Wine, Food and Restaurant Competitions. Each day will offer a slightly new food pairing - so you may find yourself coming back for more. Friday, Sept. 30 (4 p.m. - 9 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 and 2 (11 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
