Tasting Fee Description: We offer several different wine tasting options:

Sonoma Inclusive Tasting ($18)
Enjoy a taste of Sonoma County with our Sonoma Inclusive Tasting. Including wines like Francis Coppola Reserve, Director’s Cut, Director’s, and Pitagora, this tasting highlights the uniqueness of wines that hail from this region.

First Flight Tasting ($25)
Enjoy a flight of our limited production wines such as Archimedes, Eleanor, and Francis Coppola Reserve. This tasting will showcase the specialties of the Sonoma region vineyard sites behind our most coveted selections.

Guided Tasting Experience ($32)
Available daily starting May 1st at 11:30am, 2:00pm, and 4:00pm

Join us in our upstairs Gallery for a guided tasting of four seasonal wines with one of our wine educators. Throughout the experience, your guide will offer insights on viticulture and grape growing, wine making practices, and how it all translates into our premier wine offerings at Francis Ford Coppola Winery. This tasting experience lasts approximately 1 hour and reservations are required.

Private Tour & Customized Tasting ($40)
Available at 11:30am and 1:30pm
(Private tastings and tours must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.)

Join us for a private tour and tasting with wines that can be customized to your groups liking. We will begin with an overview of our property, teaching you about our various appellations and vineyard practices.

Then let the tasting begin! As a part of your private experience, the tasting portion will be held away from our normal Tasting Room, with the venue dependent upon the size of your group. Tastings can be customized based on the types of wines that your guests enjoy.

Tasting in the Dark ($75)
Offered at 1pm on following dates: 5/13, 6/10, 7/8, 8/12, 9/9, 10/14, 11/11, 12/9

Join us for a fascinating wine tasting that explores how flavors and aromas in wine are accentuated by simply turning off the lights. Guests are blindfolded and led to our Winemaker’s Lab for a ‘tasting in the dark’ experience. It's a unique and unforgettable tasting perfect for any wine lover. Reservations Required.

Matchmaker ($65)
Offered the following dates: 5/21, 6/25, 7/16, 8/20, 9/17, 10/22, 11/19, 12/17 at 1:30pm

Learn the science behind your sense of taste. Guests will be guided through various tasting exercises that demonstrate how to identify different flavors in food. Then learn how balancing these flavors affects the relationship between food and wine. Want to have your favorite Chardonnay with a juicy steak? We’ll teach you how! This tasting experience lasts approximately 1½- 2 hours, and reservations are required.

Bottling Ballet Mecanique
Available daily at 11:30am
$20 per person includes tasting of four (4) wines
Named for the little dance wine bottles do while moving across the bottling line, this tasting will give you a sneak peek at our state-of-the-art bottling facility. We'll begin with an overview of our property, teach you about our various appellation and vineyard practices, and tell you the stories behind each of our wine labels (Teaser: they all carry personal significance to Francis).
Please note: The bottling line does not run on weekends
Tours/Hikes Description and Times: On any given day and with no advance reservation, you can take self-guided vineyard tours. After the walks, you can taste wines from the vineyards. Along the way, learn what goes on in a vineyard during the year, sustainable farming practices and other interesting tidbits of information.
