Sonoma County Hotel Recognized as Best in the World
Sonoma County continues to shine as a premier destination known for its relaxed luxury, exceptional accommodations, sustainability and warm hospitality. In 2024, several properties in the region have garnered prestigious accolades, further enhancing its appeal to travelers. Notably, Guerneville’s Mine + Farm was included in Time Magazine’s list of the World’s Greatest Places, an annual roundup celebrating remarkable destinations worldwide.
The accolades didn’t stop there. Readers of Condé Nast Traveler voted The Lodge at Bodega Bay as the Best Hotel in the World. This recognition was highlighted in the magazine’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards, where the coastal retreat claimed the top spot after more than 575,000 votes were cast, solidifying Sonoma County’s status as a must-visit travel destination.
Further recognition came when Jacqui Gifford, Editor-in-Chief of Travel + Leisure, featured Forestville’s Farmhouse Inn on ABC’s Live with Kelly and Mark during a segment on “Fall Foliage Road Trips.”
Finally, our very own Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport was named by the readers of Newsweek Magazine among the top 10 Best Small Airports in the United States.
These honors collectively showcase Sonoma County as a vibrant and compelling choice for discerning travelers seeking exceptional experiences.
