Father’s Day in Sonoma County

A tie may be nice, but quality time spent with Dad can make Father’s Day a true celebration. Plan an activity, try something new or take him to your favorite spot. Many Sonoma County wineries host special events with Dad in mind, from car shows and ballgames to Dad-approved pairings. And don’t forget about the impressive lineup of local breweries, cideries and distilleries or the award-winning restaurants, which also serve up special menus for Father’s Day.

Kids of all ages can join in on the fun with trips to museums, attractions and parks. Take advantage of holiday rates (Father’s often get in for free) and special exhibitions.

For a day outside, head out to the Sonoma County Coast, make a splash at the Russian River, the Petaluma River or Lake Sonoma, or take a hike through California’s incredible redwoods. Even better, take in all three!
