Description

This beautifully restored Mission-style Sebastopol Railroad Depot, built in 1917, now houses the West County Museum, which presents changing exhibits chronicling the history of western Sonoma County.

Museum exhibits are changed two to three times a year, and focus on west Sonoma County history. Past exhibits have explored movies filmed in Sonoma County, historical toys, eclectic collections from the community, the World War II experience on the home front, the apple industry and apple festivals and fairs, early lighting devices, etc.
