13th Annual Windsor Chili Cook-Off

The highly anticipated 13th Annual Windsor Chili Cook Off returns this September, calling on chili enthusiasts and culinary wizards alike to showcase their skills in a savory showdown. The Windsor Chili Cook-Off is an annual culinary event hosted by the Windsor Chamber of Commerce celebrating the rich tradition of chili making and community spirit. This cook-off brings together amateur and professional chili chefs from Windsor and beyond, showcasing their unique recipes for a chance to win cash prizes, trophies, bragging rights, and to have a lot of fun. The event offers a high-energy atmosphere with live music, local vendors, and great food. A portion of proceeds are shared with Our Village Closet, a Santa Rosa-based nonprofit.
Teams throughout Sonoma County are encouraged to register and compete for the coveted titles of Best Traditional Chili and Best Homestyle Chili. Teams will have a chance at winning cash prizes, in addition to trophies and bragging rights. A distinguished panel of local celebrity judges and culinary experts will determine the top winners in each category.
- Local entertainment: Dustin Saylor is a Northern California home grown American Country Singer Songwriter.
- Local craft beer and wine: We love cold beer and wine with our chili, and plenty of both will be available from local favorites.
- Featured breweries: Cuver Belgian Brewers, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Old Caz Brewery, Fogbelt Brewery.
- Featured wineries: Oak Tree Winery, Trecini Winery, Merriam Winery.
Charitable Impact: The Windsor Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the 2026 Windsor Chili Cook-Off will benefit Our Village Closet, a Santa Rosa-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth and families impacted by foster care. Through its Resource Center, Our Village Closet provides no-cost essentials including clothing, shoes, diapers, school supplies, bedding, toys, and other necessities, helping to restore dignity and ease the financial burden on caregivers. Serving hundreds of local youth and families each month, the organization also connects them with valuable community resources and support programs that foster a sense of belonging, stability, and hope. By supporting this year's chili cook-off, attendees and participants will help make a meaningful difference in the lives of some of Sonoma County's most vulnerable children and families.
