33rd North Coast Studio Discovery

Art lovers are invited to explore the scenic Sonoma and Mendocino coasts during the 33rd annual Studio Discovery Tour, a free self-guided event showcasing 43 artists across 26 studios from Cazadero to Point Arena.

Held over the last two weekends in August, including Labor Day, the tour features a wide variety of artwork for sale, including oil, acrylic, encaustic, watercolor, pen and ink, ceramics, glass, jewelry and metal arts, fiber arts, photography, and more. Hosted by the North Coast Artists Guild, this long-standing event offers a rare opportunity to meet artists in their creative spaces.

Preview exhibits are on display at the Discovery Gallery in Gualala (July 11 – Sept. 7), Whitecap Coffee and Tea in Anchor Bay (Aug. 2 – 28), and the Sea Ranch Lodge (Aug. 20 – Sept. 3). A free opening wine reception will be held at the Sea Ranch Lodge on Aug. 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
