Authors on the Plaza

Authors on the Plaza is a free, open-to-the-public community event presented by the Sonoma Valley Authors Festival, taking place Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held beneath the trees of the historic Sonoma Plaza, the 2026 program features acclaimed authors Dave Barry, Maria Semple, Rick Atkinson, and Colum McCann.

This family-friendly outdoor gathering invites the Sonoma community to enjoy an engaging afternoon of conversation and storytelling, offering moments of humor, insight, and inspiration in a relaxed, open-air setting. While tickets are not required, attendees are encouraged to register in advance. An on-site bookseller will be available.
