Bands on the Basin: A Floating Concert for All

Held on the Petaluma River in the heart of downtown, this is the only concert in Sonoma County you can attend by boat, paddle board, or water bike. Bring your own watercraft or rent one of ours and enjoy live music from the water while floating, pedaling, lounging, and soaking up the uniquely Petaluma vibe.

Featuring Petaluma's top three attractions: music, community and Petaluma's longest park, the Petaluma River, this floating concert invites you to soak in the summer's best vibes. Rent any of 15 different kinds of boats, boards and water bikes, pedal, paddle or row your way around the turning basin as you enjoy the fabulous sounds of Soul Shake, Sebastian Saint James Band, and Foxes in The Hen House. On this day, boat rentals are 90 minutes and 2 hours only.
