Botanical Briefing: Bird Rescue Short Film with Q&A

In conjunction with the exhibition Winged Wonders, Sonoma Botanical Garden has had the great pleasure of partnering with the Bird Rescue Center this season. To amplify and celebrate their amazing work and mission, we’re honored to present a screening of the 2024 short film by the same name, The Bird Rescue Center. Please join us for a cinematic window into this Northern California bird sanctuary and the people who give wildlife a second flight. We’re honored to be joined by the filmmaker Derek Knowles and the Education and Outreach Coordinator of the Bird Rescue Center, Rachel Bean. Following the screening, Derek and Rachel will share their thoughts and reflections on the film and the work of the Center, followed by a brief audience Q&A.
