Decades in a Glass: The Evolution of Cabernet Tasting
Laurel Glen Vineyard has been producing elegant, beautifully balanced Cabernet Sauvignon for over 40 years, and the Estate Cabernets in our library continue to surprise us with their remarkable youthfulness. While our remaining quantities of some library vintages are limited, we believe there is no better way to appreciate the unique character of our organically farmed Sonoma Mountain Estate vineyard than to experience its evolution in the glass.
Laurel Glen Vineyard is pleased to offer a tasting showcasing 30 years of our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. This guided experience features five wines selected from vintages spanning the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, highlighting the longevity and distinctive expression of our mountain-grown Cabernet across three decades.
Hosted by one of our knowledgeable wine educators, this engaging and entertaining tasting is tailored to your level of wine experience. Whether you are new to fine wine or a seasoned collector, your host will provide insights into the vineyard, vintages, winemaking, and the fascinating evolution of aged Cabernet Sauvignon, making the experience as approachable or as in-depth as you wish.
To elevate the tasting experience, a curated offering of bites designed by Allikai Sonoma will be served. The cost is $125 per person, and reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
