Father’s Day on the Rails with Russian River Railbikes

Treat Dad to a one-of-a-kind experience this Father’s Day aboard the Russian River Railbikes. Departing from 425 Asti Road in Cloverdale, these pedal-powered railbikes offer a leisurely six-mile round trip along the historic Northwestern Pacific Railroad tracks. The journey features diverse landscapes, including a tunnel beneath the Cloverdale Cemetery, vineyard views, and scenic stretches along the Russian River. A 15-minute stop at the turnaround point provides time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Each railbike accommodates up to four passengers and travels at a comfortable pace of about ten miles per hour. While there are no height restrictions, children age two and under must ride in a car seat. Helmets are provided, or you may bring your own. The full experience lasts approximately 90 minutes, including the turnaround stop.

Tours are available on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, with departures at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and potentially 3 p.m. if earlier time slots fill. Reservations are strongly recommended, as these popular rides often sell out.
