Fourth Annual Heirloom Apple Festival at Gold Ridge Organic Farms

Gold Ridge Organic Farms will host its Fourth Annual Heirloom Apple Festival, a family-friendly celebration of fall and the farm’s beloved heirloom apple harvest.

Guests can enjoy curated tastings from more than 70 heirloom apple varieties grown onsite, along with the farm’s organic extra virgin olive oils, apple cider balsamic vinegar, and apple cider syrup. Local cheese and apple pairings will also be featured. The festival includes tours of the orchards with founder and farmer Brooke Hazen, rides on an apple-themed trolley, and freshly pressed apple juice samples. Cooking demos, culinary displays, and an apple-themed scavenger hunt for kids round out the day’s activities.

Food and drink will be available for purchase, including wood-fired pizzas by Chef Seamus, apple crumble made with Gold Ridge apples, and apple cider slushies. Live music will be provided by Spike Sikes and his Awesome Hotcakes.

All activities take place outdoors on the farm’s olive press crush pad.
