Hallberg Butterfly Gardens Opening Day Celebration

Join us for our 26th annual celebration! We’ll have mostly native plants for sale, including several host plants (caterpillar food) such as Dutchman’s pipevine and milkweed, as well as a broad selection of seasonal nectar plants (butterfly food).

Take a walk along the trails for bird, butterfly, and wildflower sightings, guided by knowledgeable docents throughout the gardens. There will also be book sales and activities for kids. At the historic barn, visit our education center featuring a display of common butterfly host plants, an insect exhibit from Sonoma State University’s entomology department, interactive materials from the Xerces Society on pollinator conservation, and the Bird Rescue Center with its Bird Ambassadors.
