Italian Winemaker’s Lunch

Experience a pranzo pausa (an Italian-style lunch break) with Michael Muscardini at the historic, Italian-owned Swiss Hotel on the Sonoma Plaza. Enjoy a multi-course lunch served in true Italian fashion, where guests are welcomed as family and Muscardini Cellars wines are paired with rustic, heartfelt dishes. Rather than the usual food-first pairing, this experience invites guests to explore wine through memory alongside the winemaker himself, including a special taste of Michael’s first-ever IGT Super Tuscan, Contessa: a true expression of Italy with roots in Sonoma.

The menu includes a selection of wood-fired pizzas, romaine heart caesar salad, pesto primavera, flank steak with mushroom red wine reduction, and lemon panna cotta.
