Jesus Aguaje Ramos & Buena Vista Orchestra

Jesús “Aguaje” Ramos is a Cuban trombonist, composer, arranger, and musical director. He is best known as the original orchestra leader, composer, and trombonist for the Buena Vista Social Club. Ramos has also performed extensively with world-renowned ensembles such as Estrellas de Areito and the Afro-Cuban All Stars. His musical journey and legacy are highlighted in the critically acclaimed 1999 documentary Buena Vista Social Club.
