Hailed as one of the most important bands since the dawn of rock & roll, the legendary Chicago was named the highest-charting American band on Billboard magazines list of the Top 125 Artists of All Time. The group is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades. From their signature horn section and iconic vocalists to a catalog packed with classics, Chicagos concerts celebrate their enduring legacy. The year 2025 marks the bands 58th consecutive tour.
Chicago has toured every year since its formation and currently includes three original members: Robert Lamm (keyboards and vocals), Lee Loughnane (trumpet and vocals), and James Pankow (trombone). The lineup also features Wally Reyes Jr. (drums), Tony Obrohta (guitar), Loren Gold (keyboards and vocals), Ray Herrmann (saxophone and flute), Neil Donell (vocals), Eric Baines (bass), and Ramon Ray Yslas (percussion).
The bands lifetime achievements include two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, recognition as founding artists of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a dedicated street in their namesake city. Their record sales exceed 100 million and include 21 Top 10 singles, five consecutive No. 1 albums, 11 No. 1 singles, and five gold singles. Of their 38 albums, 25 have been certified platinum, earning the band a total of 48 gold and platinum awards.
