Linocut Stamp Carving Workshop

Discover the creative art of linocut printmaking with Bay Area artist Ana Bianchi in this hands-on workshop designed for beginners and curious makers alike.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of stamp carving and relief printing while exploring pattern, imagery, and repeatable design through playful experimentation. Beginning with an easy-to-carve white eraser before progressing to professional rubber carving blocks, participants will gain confidence using carving tools, safely handling materials, and understanding the unique reverse-image process of printmaking.

Please note that a $10 materials fee is required for this workshop and is not included in the registration price. Participants should bring $10 cash, payable directly to the artist on the day of the workshop. Material kits will be available upon arrival and include all of the tools and supplies needed for the class, so no additional materials are required.
