Live Music Sunday with LaidBackZach & Taylin Archini

Horse & Plow will host LaidBackZach (LBZ) with a five-piece band on Sept. 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for his debut performance at the venue.

LBZ, an artist, poet, and musician originally from Compton and now based in Sonoma County, began rapping in sixth grade and took his career to the next level in 2009 after moving to the North Bay. He has been performing locally for more than a decade.

He first wrote poetry as a youth before transitioning to songwriting, which he has pursued for the past 13 years. Influenced by 1990s R&B and West Coast hip-hop, his sound has since evolved to include elements of funk, soul, and more. Known as an electrifying performer, LBZ’s catalog blends strong musicality with lyrics that connect across audiences.
