Memorial Day Hike

Celebrate Memorial Day with a morning hike to explore the three Fallen Bridge Trails - the Old Fallen Bridge, the Upper Fallen Bridge, and the New Fallen Bridge trail (with no actual fallen bridge in sight). Each of the separate trails offers a different experience, from open grassland and mixed evergreens to groves of redwoods. Get to know these trails on a moderate, slow to medium-paced hike approximately three miles roundtrip, returning on Quarry Trail and the newly improved Vineyard Trail to London Lake. Along the trail, look for late blooming wildflowers. Pack a picnic to enjoy afte the hike and enjoy the holiday at Jack London State Historic Park.
