Mystic Roots

Casa Rasta brings a night of reggae fusion, young talent, dub textures, and curated sounds to the 707, blending local and touring artists in a lineup that is real, diverse, and full of intention. Hosted by Otis Otes, the gathering offers more than a show — it’s a vibe, with roots stretching into reggae, hip hop, rap, rock, dancehall, and more.

The lineup features Mystic Roots, a Chico-born, Southern California–based five-piece blending pop-reggae with hip hop, funk, and ska, alongside the earnest young singer-songwriter Lake Anthony, the versatile North Bay rapper LaiddBackZach, and Rabbit Dub, a self-described “traveling dub minstrel” committed to spreading positive sound. DJ Dinga and Casa Rasta Sound round out the bill, while host Otis Otes brings more than 15 years of experience moving crowds at reggae and roots events worldwide.
