Olive Oil Cake Baking Demo

Stephanie will show you how to dress up one olive-oil-based batter into summery raspberry-lemon muffins; chocolate-chip orange snacking cake, and sweet and spicy peach crumb cake.
This experience includes a guided walk through the olive and apple orchards to learn how Gold Ridge Organic Farms manages a sustainable, organic tree-to-table farm before stepping into our charming Apple Cottage for the demonstration.
Stephanie Rosenbaum Klassen is the manager and lead educator of the Farm Shop and Tasting Room at Gold Ridge Organic Farms. Prior to joining Gold Ridge in 2023, she was a cookbook author, cooking teacher, and food writer. Her books include A Little Taste of San Francisco, World of Doughnuts, Honey from Flower to Table, and Fun Food: Kids in the Kitchen. She has written for The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Magazine, Edible East Bay, Edible Brooklyn, Time Out New York, and more.
