Join chef and food preservationist Merrilee Olson, founder of Preserve Farm Kitchens, at Gold Ridge Organic Farms for a hands-on workshop celebrating the vibrant flavors of citrus.
With years of experience transforming farm-fresh ingredients into culinary treasures, Merrilee will share her expert techniques and secrets for making perfectly preserved Meyer Lemons and beautifully candied citrus peel. In this immersive 2.5-hour class held in our rustic Apple Cottage, you'll work with organic citrus, learning traditional preservation methods in a relaxed, hands-on setting.
You'll leave with your own jar of handcrafted preserved lemons, a keepsake apple blossom pink apron, and a bag of organic citrus from our farm so you can practice your new skills at home.
Your experience includes a scenic ride through the farm aboard our apple-themed trolley or apple blossom-pink VW van, plus morning tea.
