Raven 24/7 – Theater Without A Safety Net

Seven writers, seven directors, and seven actor groups gather together Friday, Aug. 22, at the Raven and, with the help of the audience, select a theme that will inspire the writers to each write a ten-minute play. The audience also votes on one line of dialogue that must be in each play. The writers then have until 8 am Saturday to write their plays; the directors and actors rehearse from 10 am to 4 p.m., returning to the Raven at 4:30 p.m. to do a quick tech run in preparation for performing all seven plays at 7:30 p.m. to an eager and enthusiastic audience.
