Reto Naturalista Urbano: Urban Naturalist Challenge

Join staff from Sugarloaf Ridge and Jack London State Parks for a bioblitz in Spanish as part of the 2026 City Nature Challenge.

The group will meet at the White Barn parking area. We will traverse sections of various trails featuring diverse habitats, covering a maximum distance of 4.25 miles with an elevation gain of approximately 800 feet. 

Please wear footwear suitable for rocky or slippery trails, and bring sun protection, at least one liter of water per person, and a snack. We invite you to bring a magnifying glass, a plant or flower identification guide, or binoculars.
