Return to Woodsboro for Scream

The Sonoma Community Center, famously used as Woodsboro High School in the 1996 horror classic Scream, will host a screening of the film Oct. 30 in Andrews Hall. Written by Kevin Williamson and directed by the late Wes Craven, the film remains one of the most iconic horror titles of the 1990s. Guests can grab drinks from the bar, enjoy popcorn, and browse Scream-inspired art from local vendors. Limited-edition merchandise, including tote bags and screen prints made in the Centers Printmaking Studio once used as a classroom in the movie will also be available.
Costumes are welcome, though masks and weapons (prop or otherwise) are strictly prohibited. Organizers note a zero-tolerance policy on masks: any attendee wearing one will be asked to leave immediately.
A VIP experience will expand the screening into a fan-focused immersion. VIPs will enjoy a private reception in the Printmaking Studio before the screening, as well as unlimited bar access during the film (21+ for alcohol). Following the movie, guests will be transported to Spring Hill Estate Mansion, the filming location of Stu Machers house in the film, for a nighttime tour and behind-the-scenes stories. The overnight experience includes photo opportunities, a Scream movie marathon, and the chance to sleep in the room used as the attic in the movie.
The following morning, VIPs will be treated to breakfast at the Washoe House, another historic and reportedly haunted location, before being transported back to Sonoma.
VIP packages include reserved seating in the first three rows for the Oct. 30 screening, along with exclusive merchandise from both Woodsboro High and the Macher House.
