Second Annual “Black Is Beautiful” Juneteenth Block Party

Strange Constellation is a BIPOC-led vintage clothing shop & art space located in Santa Rosa's SOFA Art District. On Thursday, June 19, we will be hosting our Second Annual "Black Is Beautiful" Juneteenth Block Party, in collaboration with Positive Images & several SOFA Arts District businesses, and sponsored by the County of Sonoma Board of Supervisors.

Restaurants Cafe Frida & The Spinster Sisters will feature outdoor markets spotlighting Black artists & artisans, live music featuring an incredible lineup of local Black musicians & performers, and special food & beverage menus in honor of the Juneteenth holiday. Black artists will also be featured in a few local neighborhood galleries, which will be open to event passport holders as part of the Block Party's neighborhood walking tour. The event will close on a high note with a spectacular drag show featuring multiple local & well-loved Black drag performers.
