Sonoma County Stories: Nancy Wang

Join us for three special programs to celebrate the addition of new video stories to our local history exhibition Sonoma County Stories!
The programs highlight the ways in which diverse voices, cultures, and histories have shaped our region. The upcoming series features national and community leaders and cultural stewards who share stories of identity, place, and belonging.

May's video debut features the extraordinary story of Nancy Wang, President of the Redwood Empire Chinese Association and cherished Museum board member. In it, she recounts her life story and the development of the Chinese-American community in Sonoma County over the past half century. The program will feature a screening of the video and a conversation with those who have benefitted from Nancy Wang’s leadership and generosity.
