Sonoma Speakers: Roy Tuscany & Alana Nichols

Join us for an inspiring evening of resilience, sport, and storytelling with Roy Tuscany and Alana Nichols — two leaders in the world of adaptive athletics and disability advocacy. This special event will feature candid conversations, powerful personal journeys, and a celebration of strength in the face of adversity. Whether you're an athlete, ally, or advocate, this is a night you won’t want to miss!

Roy Tuscany is the founder and CEO of the High Fives Foundation. A native of Vermont, he launched the nonprofit after sustaining a spinal cord injury, using a pay-it-forward mindset to support others facing life-changing injuries. Tuscany is known for his dynamic leadership, attention to detail, and passion for building inclusive, empowering communities. He is a 2024 recipient of the Jimmie Heuga Award, a 2023 TEDx speaker, and a recognized community leader, as featured in Eddie Bauer, Polaris, and Outside Magazine.

Alana Nichols is a multi-sport Paralympic gold medalist and a leading advocate for women and people with disabilities in sport. After a spinal cord injury at 17, she became the first American woman to win gold medals in both the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. She now competes in adaptive surfing and has earned multiple World Titles from the ISA. Nichols serves on the Women’s Sports Foundation board and continues to champion inclusivity and access in athletics.
