Stargazing Saturn Focus Night

Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered what’s really out there? Wished you could zoom in on cosmic marvels with expert guidance by your side? That’s exactly what happens at a Focus Night at Robert Ferguson Observatory. These small-group events offer a more intimate stargazing experience, with plenty of telescope time and personalized interactions with knowledgeable astronomers.

This October, we’re turning our gaze to Saturn, the dazzling sixth planet from the Sun. Known for its breathtaking rings and more than 140 moons, Saturn is a world that continues to awe and mystify. Even more intriguing: its iconic rings are slowly disappearing.

Come explore this spectacular planetary system and get a deeper look at the autumn sky. The program begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. Please allow extra time for driving and parking.

$50 per adult, $45 for seniors (62+) and students, and $40 for RFO members. Price includes parking at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Attendance is limited, and tickets are required. Please note that tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be used for future events.
