Summer Harvest Cooking Demo

Celebrate the flavors of the Mediterranean with this relaxed summer lunch menu. Learn how to make the most of your backyard or farmer's market bounty with this demonstration class taught by local cookbook author Stephanie Klassen. She'll show you how to turn those overflowing baskets of summer veggies into a cool Summer Garden Gazpacho, a colorful Provencal Vegetable Galette and Green Bean-Feta Salad. (And don't forget Nonna's Olive Oil Cookies for dessert!) After the demo, we'll sit down together for an al fresco lunch overlooking our beautiful organic orchards.
What to Expect:
- A hands-on cooking demonstration in our charming Apple Cottage kitchen
- Expert tips from Stephanie on creating delicious dishes using fresh, local produce
- A sit-down lunch featuring the dishes you just watched being made, enjoyed at a table overlooking our apple orchard
- A signature refreshment: citrus shrub, freshly pressed apple cider or apple cider spritz
- A scenic ride in our apple-themed trolley from the Farm Shop to the Apple Cottage
- 10% off all Farm Shop purchases on the day of the class
