Jack London’s lifelong admiration for dogs was inspired by his experiences in the Klondike and immortalized in “The Call of the Wild” and “White Fang.” His unforgettable canine characters remind us of the loyalty, courage, and companionship that dogs bring to our lives, making this park the perfect place to honor our own furry companions.

In celebration of National Dog Month, a group of up to 15 dogs and their people will take a relaxed, three-mile guided walk through London’s historic Beauty Ranch to the Wolf House ruins.

Along the way, there will be fascinating stories about the park’s history, and plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and take in the sights together. This leisurely, community-focused walk includes water breaks, treat stops, and time to connect with fellow dog lovers.

Jack London State Historic Park is a wildlife sanctuary, therefore dogs are only allowed in designated historic areas including the Beauty Ranch area and on the trail to Wolf House but not on any other trails.
