Valley Laughs: Stand-Up Comedy

The Sonoma Community Center, in partnership with Smit Show Comedy, presents Valley Laughs, a night of live stand-up comedy on Friday, Aug. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Andrews Hall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for preshow drinks in the Laugh Lounge. Tickets are $25.
Headlining the show is Frankie Marcos, winner of the 2024 San Francisco Comedy Competition. A Mexican-Filipino comic born and raised in San Jose, also known as Shark City, Marcos has since become an international headliner. He has performed with comedians including Taylor Tomlinson, Michael Che, and Nicole Byer.
Natalie Diaz, a fast-rising comedian from Middletown, will open for Marcos. Known for her candid, self-aware humor, Diaz has taken the stage at venues such as Cobbs Comedy Club and the Sacramento Punch Line.
Bay Area comic Brian Thomas will host the evening. Based in Rohnert Park, Thomas has performed at the San Jose Improv, the Throckmorton Theatre, and San Francisco County Jail #3. His comedy is rooted in sharp, observational storytelling.
