Idle Cellars is the collaboration of Ben Larks, a teacher and explorer, and Ari Heavner, an entrepreneur and globetrotter. Their chance meeting during a 2006 harvest in Sonoma Valley sparked a shared vision: to create balanced, elegant wines that celebrate idle moments. With Heavners city roots and Larks country sensibilities, their approach blends hands-on vineyard work with a deep respect for Sonomas terroir. Each bottle reflects their commitment to craftsmanship, adventure, and the art of slowing downone glass at a time.
