Wine and Words: Book Launch and Wine Pairing

Join us Sunday, Sept. 14, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Barndiva, for the launch of In Ghost Time, a new book by artist and writer Susan Preston. This free event will feature a reading, an opportunity to meet the author, and tastes of Preston wine paired with hors d’oeuvres from Barndiva.

Susan Preston, a Dry Creek Valley–based artist and third-generation vintner, blends her visual art practice — featuring paintings born from journals — with a rich creative life rooted in organic farming and sustainable methods. Her work often reflects the textures of rural life — wax, ink, paper, river water, and other tactile materials. Her writing invites readers into the intimate interplay of memory, time, and artistry.

This launch event offers a rare chance to encounter Preston’s compelling blend of visual and literary storytelling in an intimate wine-country setting.
