Safari West was born more than 30 years ago from the shared vision of Peter and Nancy Lang, who are deeply passionate about wildlife conservation and education. Nestled in the heart of Sonoma County, the 400-acre wildlife preserve has grown into a home for more than 900 animals and 90 different species, offering guests a unique and meaningful connection to the wonders of the natural world. From its humble beginnings as a private preserve to becoming a celebrated destination for wildlife enthusiasts, Safari West continues to inspire visitors to care deeply for the beauty of the wild.
