Doran Regional Park features a wide, 2-mile stretch of beach on Bodega Bay and is ideal for walking, picnicking, playing in the sand, flying kites, surfing, and bird-watching.
A boat launch provides access to Bodega Harbor and Bodega Bay for sport fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, and kite surfing. A rock jetty on the west end of the park is a popular spot for fishing and exploring sea life.
Doran Regional Park features more than 120 year-round campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. (Hook-ups are not available.) Doran's campsites are grouped into four areas:
The Shell, Gull and Cove campground areas are bordered by Bodega Harbor on one side and the park access road on the other side. (The beach is on the other side of the road.)
The Jetty campground area is bordered by Bodega Harbor on one side and the beach on the other.
Potable water is available throughout the campgrounds. Restrooms feature electrical outlets, flush toilets and coin-operated showers ($2 for 5 minutes.) $7 dump station is available. Dogs on leash are allowed in the campgrounds.
Reservations can be made up to a year in advance and are strongly recommended for summer, holidays, and the start of the sport crab fishing season in November.
