Starlings Rest Vacation Home is located on a hillside overlooking the northern Alexander Valley in Sonoma County Wine Country. In the summer, the bridge over the Russian River is open in Asti, making the drive from Healdsburg/Geyserville only 15 minutes. Located nearby are wineries, restaurants, the quaint towns of Cloverdale, Geyserville and Hopeland, the Russian River, Lake Sonoma, and Anderson Valley famous for their apples and more recently, their wineries,too. Guests drive through a stone pillar gate and drive a few hundred feet up the hillside to Starlings Rest. A large front deck furnished with table and chairs accent the front of the home. Vineyard and valley views are enjoyed from this vantage. Double french doors exit to the back deck, hot tub and in ground solar-heated swimming pool closed November - April. In the late fall and winter months, thousands of starlings swirl and rest in the trees above. Deer, quail and rabbits also live near and visit the hillside. A 7 person hot tub, and quality outdoor furniture are provided.
