Description

Forestville River Access provides access to the Russian River, just off River Road, via a parking area and a short trail leading to a scenic beach. Known by local’s as Mom’s Beach, the rocky shore here offers a lovely view of surrounding redwood forest. This is a great spot to sunbathe and watch summer paddlers heading down river. (Lifeguards are not on duty.) The small parking area fills quickly in summer months. Alcohol is not allowed in the parking area or on the beach. Dogs allowed on leash. Open daily from 7 a.m. to ½ hour before sunset.
