Creekside Park is an unusual mixture of activity and quietude, fun and art, farming and transportation, conservation and natural beauty all packed into a small and beautiful designed Public Park. Russian River Skate Park in Creekside Park was designed for maximum enjoyment for beginners and advanced skaters alike. You’ll also see young kids on scooters enjoying the track. Skaters and artists have discovered that it’s perfectly okay to express themselves in paint on the ‘park-approved’ art wall on the back of the main building.
You can watch the action at the skate park from up on the deck or wander the one-third mile Dutch Bill Creek Loop Trail that encircles the park. There you will encounter many native species and edible plants and fruit and nut trees, each identified with metal sign plates. Creekside Park is also home to the Creekside Park Communal Orchard and Farm where the produce is shared with the farmers and public alike and is also used in the café.
