Idlewild is a small winery that produces Piedmontese varietals grown in the elevated hills of Mendocino County. Our Salumi & Wine Bar is located just off the plaza in Downtown Healdsburg. Staying true to Sam’s roots our wine bar has stepped away from the pushy sales and gimmicks of a conventional tasting room and has brought back the simple joy of pairing wine and food.
Idlewild takes an Old World approach focusing on the simplicity of the raw product without over the top frill and fuss. In the end, it is a reflection of childhood memories: spending an afternoon with friends and family, enjoying a glass of wine, and snacking on a plate prosciutto. We believe an honest and sustainable approach is fundamental in reaching our goal. Visit us daily from 12 to 7 p.m.
