The Inn at Occidental, a charming bed and breakfast located in the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country, is an ideal destination for those seeking to experience all the bounty and beauty this region offers.

Your hosts, owners Matt and Vicky Meblin, welcome you to stay and find peaceful relaxation, warm hospitality, and delicious breakfasts here with us. The Meblins recently became owners in March 2024, and look forward to creating even more delightful experiences for guests.

The inn will serve as a home base where you will return after a day of your favorite local activities. In the early evening, join your fellow guests in our new wine bar for a glass or bottle from our Sonoma County-focused wine list.

With 425+ wineries in Sonoma County to explore, wine lovers will be able to create their dream itineraries to seek both nationally celebrated wines and smaller producers that are waiting to be discovered.

 

There is no shortage of wonderful dining experiences in Sonoma County, many within a short drive of the inn, and some within walking distance. You may find that the lovely farms and vineyards that you passed on the drive to Occidental have supplied ingredients for your meals.

 

Whether you enjoy browsing local shops, being pampered at a spa, exploring the Sonoma coastline, hiking, biking, golfing, live music, or many other activities, the Inn at Occidental is the place to return and unwind.

 

Each guest room has its own personality with a unique theme. Many guests return to stay in the same room time after time. There are several collections of antique objects to discover throughout the inn. With all of its comfort, charm, and proximity to so many delights, the Inn at Occidental will be a memorable part of your Wine Country getaway. We offer dog-friendly rooms for our guests traveling with pets and complimentary EV chargers for guests as a part of our commitment to sustainability and green hospitality.
