Description

Not everyone gets the connection between Surfing and making great wines in a millisecond, but when you visit us and experience the delicious individualistic wines and the relaxed Sonoma County attitude, it will all make sense. Surfers and winemakers embark on a lifelong journey of discovery (searching for the perfect wave and the perfect vineyard) and have to surrender and accept what nature sends their way. Come taste the passion in our bottles and experience for yourself our culture of Wine, Waves and Soul! We are considered a Surfboard Museum. We have vintage surfboards and surf art on all our walls and in our barrel room.

At the SURFLOUNGE (that is what we call our tasting room) we offer you a place to explore your taste buds and hopefully discover something new. For example, we are one of few wineries that makes an estate Merlot from a cooler region. We just love seeing folk’s eyes widen in wonder after a taste: “Wow, I didn’t know I liked Merlot!” We also make a very unique Brut sparkling wine in the Champagne Method, ours is 100% barrel fermented in neutral casks and finished very dry. There is a lot to explore, and we do it in a relaxed manner, aiming to engage each visitor in a real conversation (rather than just tossing out meaningless facts at you). Come on over, there’s plenty of parking and it’s but a two minute walk from the downtown Healdsburg Plaza, right by the railroad tracks – where the renegades thrive!
